Bazar Crowdfunding Case Study

We had the pleasure to partner with a brand that is continuously striving to make consumers more conscious of what they buy. Bazar is the UK’s first dedicated ethical marketplace and lifestyle app and we helped the brand with their crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Bazar – The Brand

In a nutshell Bazar is an ethical marketplace and a community of buyers and sellers looking to make eco and sustainable lifestyle changes. The brand launched during the lockdown going live with 35 sellers and 650 products. Due to increased traction, the number of sellers and products doubled showing positive seller demand.

Bazar Crowdfunding – How Drop Studio supported them

Bazar partnered with us for their fundraising campaign on Crowdcube, and we helped them create their campaign video. They enrolled for the Fundraising Accelerator Course which includes Crowdfunding Video Production, Online course, Campaign Manager and Investor Research. We wanted to build a narrative around Bazar ‘s mission to bring together ethical & eco brands, artisans and preloved (perused) items to one marketplace. After the launch of their campaign on Crowdcube, Bazar smashed their initial £150,000 target. Towards the end of their 30-day crowdfunding campaign, 360 investors joined Bazar in their fundraising endeavor, collectively pledging £208,368 – thereby successfully overfunding by 138%.
