With our help, the Cook My Grub crowdfunding campaign successfully surpassed their crowdfunding target of £300,000 overfunding by 250% to £750,787. Here’s their crowdfunding success story.
Cook My Grub – The Brand
The founders behind Cook My Grub started the online food delivery marketplace that aims to provide healthy & sustainable alternatives for people unable to cook wholesome meals at home. Based on the food choice and preference, users are presented with a wide selection of cuisines to choose from.
Meals are prepared by home chefs, who have their own “virtual restaurant” thus giving them the flexibility to decide when, what & how much to cook.
Cook My Grub Crowdfunding – How Drop Studio supported them
With product launches planned across London, Reading, Swindon & the Home Counties, Cook My Grub decided to Crowdfund their growth and expansion plans. They teamed up with us for their crowdfunding project. Our previous experience in supporting the campaigns of other online food delivery marketplaces like Feedr gave us confidence in delivering for Cook My Grub. We created three film treatments for the brand to choose from, and then went on to write the script for the video, plan, film and edit, before the final video was delivered. Take a look at their crowdfunding campaign video below.
As part of our Fundraising Accelerator Program, Cook My Grub were provided with tools alongside our creative support to help them execute a successful crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. Through the Fundraising Accelerator Program, they received our Investor Research, which helped them to grow their network of potential investors in their sector.
